OUT OF PRINT
Since 2020, we have been flooded with the anomalous wave of a worldwide disease outbreak–the COVID-19 pandemic–which has taken away so much, too much, maybe everything. This story deals with the importance and disruptive consequences of this pandemic, the fear that made us feel, the pain that made us carry in for so long. But, above all, it speaks of freedom, of rebirth, of victory, of love.
“Honey! We are going to have our wedding as
scheduled. Your doctor said that you are going to be
discharged today,” he cheered her up.
“May God let it be!”, she exhaled. She wanted to
dance in joy inside the ward. She had survived triple
tragedy. […] Jovani had no clue about all that.
“Meron! I can’t wait to marry you,” said Jovani.
“Get me out of this Hospital on a white bride dress if
it is possible,” she joked.
Dr.Abraham Fessehaye is an assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at St.Paul’s Hospital Millennium Medical College (SPHMMC). He completed his specialty training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at SPHMMC in 2019. He earned his MD degree at Orotta School of Medicine and Dentistry in 2013. Dr. Abraham is the author of “The Art Of Living Dreams: My story of becoming an Ob-Gyn”.
