Effie Kokkini was born in Athens. Effie comes from the Greek word Eftichia which means happiness. She has studied Business Administration and possesses a diploma of Public Relations certified from the London Chamber of Commerce and Industry. She has also attended summer courses of French lessons in Paris.
She has worked for nearly 24 years in the leasing department of a bank until November 2024. She speaks fluently English, French, German and Spanish.
She has written film reviews and articles in Greek sites. Romantic Pattern for Lonely Hearts is her first book translated in English. Her second one, a “whodunit” novel was released in November 2025 in Greek.
