A lovely book, very authentic and to the point. It has great down-to-earth advice, which helped me shift the way I look at things tremendously. Even the first couple of pages lifted me up. I really recommend it to people struggling with seeing the good things in life and who just want to be happier in general. Very easy to read and full of hands-on solutions on how to live better. Would recommend it to anyone who wants to bring a positive change to their everyday life, anyone struggling with depression or anxiety, and to those people who don’t know where to begin. It’s a really lovely stepping stone and a very clear guide. Filled with stories and examples, so that it’s very easy to follow and try out. Anyway, I loved it.

The book systematically goes through the most diverse aspects of life in nine chapters in simple language and with the direct experience of a woman in today’s world. Within each of them, there is a multitude of short sections with everyday scenes and simple insights, glimpses, a few strokes passages. With direct examples, the author informs, reveals her insights, talks to us at the same time, and invites us to reflect on ourselves with gentle encouragement. With down-to-earth suggestions, she suggests how to take better care, how to more easily control what is happening in us and in the surroundings by changing the perspective, by doing so to consciously make decisions in our own favor and let go of anger and worry. She reminds us that everything changes, we are not what we used to be, that our relationships are what shape us and can fill us with inner satisfaction when we first face ourselves and our expectations. Thus, just before the end, the book reminds us that one of the sources of our greatest joy lies in the depth of others’ feelings. We best improve our lives and the world around us by cultivating our own virtues, and we best help ourselves by being grateful to and helping others. To sum up, an all in all a positive book, not an innovative masterpiece.
