John Stewart has won a number of awards for his work in the areas of transport and noise. He was named one of ‘London’s thousand most influential’ people by the London Evening Standard. He came to London forty years ago, having spent his teenage years in Edinburgh. In 2011, he published Why Noise Matters. These short stories are his first work of fiction.
