Paul Lazor, born Pawlo Lazor in Halifax, West Yorkshire, England, in 1955, is the son of refugees who came from Eastern Europe after the end of the Second World War.
He transferred to a grammar school at the age of 16 and eventually to the University of Birmingham, where He studied Science. He graduated in 1976 and embarked upon a career in the Sale of scientific instruments to Industry. He travelled to Eastern Europe and Russia, encountering the Secret Police and Donald Maclean, the infamous spy.
After his first marriage came to a tragic end, He met Julie in 1990, who became his wife and Angel in the story. In 2001, Julie was diagnosed with leukaemia, and she passed away in 2005. In 2014, after a period of calm and tranquillity in his life, He decided to start a new life in Spain. After retiring in 2022 and learning to speak Spanish to a reasonable standard, He is now teaching Spanish as an enjoyable hobby to expats from England.
